oṁ vande gurūṇāṁ caraṇāravinde saṁdarśitasvātmasukhāvabodhe niḥśreyase jāṅgalikāyamāne saṁsāra hālāhala moha śāntyai ||
ābāhu-puruṣākāram śaṅka-cakrāsi-dhāriṇam sahasra-śirasaṁ śvetam praṇamāmi patañjalim ||
(oṁ — primordial sound of Ishvara; vande — bow; gurūṇāṁ — lineage of teachers; caraṇāravinde — lotus feet of teachers; saṁdarśita — reveal; svātma — true nature; sukhāva — happiness; bodhe — receive knowledge; niḥśreyase —emancipation; jāṅgalikā — jungle; yamāne — physician; saṁsāra — conditioned existence; hālāhala — poison; moha — delusion; śāntyai — resolve)

oṁ svasthiprajābhyah paripālayantām nyāyena mārgena mahīm mahiśah gobrāhmanebhyah śubhamastu nityam lokāh samastāh sukhinobhavanthu ||
oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||
(svasthi — prosperity; prajābhyah — mankind; paripālayantām — administered; nyāyena — virtues; mārgena — path; mahīm mahiśah — rulers(politicians in modern day era); go — cow, the scared animal in Hindusim; brāhmanebhyah — those who possess knowledge of eternal truths; śubhamastu — protected; nityam — always; lokāh — inhabitants of the planet; samastāh — all; sukhino — happy; bhavanthu — become ; śāntiḥ — peace)
